Christmas Message From President Max Binnington

Max Binnington President

To All Hunters and Supporters

On behalf of your Committee and Team Managers across both winter and summer competitions I would like to wish you all a safe and happy festive season. May you all enjoy the company of family and friends and for those who can a relaxing break from work, school or University.

Thank you all for the way in which you have represented The Hunters in the past year, it has been extraordinarily successful. I believe it is the friendship and goodwill that gives us our reputation and has so many people wanting to join us as a Club member. The support you provide for each other, the contributions of our regular officials, Club helpers and all of you who help out at both competition and training as well as to coaches, Team Managers and Club administration is all part of the spirit of being a Glenhuntly member, dare I say it “The Hunters Way”.As you saw on Friday 9th December there are a huge number of people out there who are proud to be Hunters.

I look forward to seeing our summer competition end with great success in the finals which will of course come through a great Team effort.

Of note on 14th December one of our great supporters, Cr Jamie Hyams, was elected Mayor of the City of Glen Eira. We congratulate Jamie and look forward his leadership of the Council and continuing our close relationship.

Finally I would like to pass on the very best wishes of our members at this time of the year to those families amongst our membership who have lost a loved one through the year. This will be a difficult time and our thoughts are with you.
