Athletics Victoria XCR ’13 Presentation Day on Sunday 6th October

Hello everyone,

On behalf of Athletics Victoria I would like to congratulate you all on a very successful XCR’13 season.

We saw some close and exciting races across all divisions and this lead to some remarkable performances from our Victorian team members in Tassie at the Australian XC Championships.

This season has seen some great weather, which all started down at Jells Park and continued to get better to finish off with a great morning down at the Tan Track for our Tan Relays event.

We have seen some great video footage from our Aths Vic TV crew who captured some memorable moments throughout the season, especially out at Lardner Park where we saw shoes go missing in the mud and some spills in the ditches. I would like to thank David Armstrong for all his hard work throughout the season and look forward to seeing him again for the XCR’14 season.

These events would not be a success without the help of our officials and club helpers. We appreciate the time and hard work you all put into helping make our events successful and look forward to seeing you all again for another season in 2014.

To celebrate the XCR’13 season we (AV) will be holding a presentation day on Sunday 6th October starting at 12.00pm. This will be held at Lakeside, with the room to be confirmed early next week.

We will be presenting trophies to individual XCR’13 champions and pennants to all division champions. We will also be presenting pennants to those clubs who won their divisions throughout the season at each individual event. So please come along and help us acknowledge the great performances from our athletes.

Once again congratulations on a great XCR’13 season and we hope to see you next year for another successful season.

If you have any questions in regards to the presentation day please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Emma Neely  |  Competitions Assistant
